Job Description:
A company is looking for a Principal Robotics Engineer to design
and implement robotics software architecture for consumer
robots.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, test, and document robotics systems and features
in C/C++ on desktop and embedded platforms, focusing on ROS 2
Create the next generation robot software architecture for consumer
robotics products
Learn the current robot system software architecture and contribute
to the roadmap for future development
Required Qualifications
Background in developing robotics, navigation, or vision
systems
Minimum of 5 years of experience in C++ 11/14 and beyond
Minimum of 5 years of experience with ROS and/or ROS 2
Strong software architecture skills and understanding of computer
systems
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical
Engineering, or related field
