Our talented team has over 25 years of experience providing analytical services for stand-alone and integrated biologics projects.Catalent Pharma Solutions in Kansas City, MO is hiring an Intern in Process Engineering. The Intern in this department is responsible for supporting capital projects that impact our manufacturing facilities and scheduling. What we do is vital to achieve Catalent's future growth strategy and maintain relevance within the pharmaceutical/biotech market.This is a full-time hourly position: Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30pm on-site in Kansas City, MO. PLEASE NOTE: candidates must be available to work 40-hours/week from May 26th - August 11th, 2025. A sign-on bonus of $1,000 is also offered for this position. • Executes capital projects that impact the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) facilities to meet FDA requirements and growth strategies. This position uses engineering, time management, scheduling, and communication skills to aid in project completion
• Identifies continuous improvement opportunities that will enhance our processes to save time and maintain compliance
• Each intern would make an impact to the department and site by executing one or more projects during their internship
• Other duties as assignedThe Candidate:
  • Must be a current undergraduate student working towards a Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field
  • Must be eligible to legally work in the United States
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) for a 10-12-week period over the summer (Late May to Early August 2025)
  • Previous academic lab/project experience preferred
  • Must be well-organized and ability to multitask and manage your time efficiently
  • Physical requirements: Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds; ability to communicate orally with customers, vendors, and co-workers. Regular use of telephone and email. Hearing, vision, and speaking within normal ranges is essential for normal conversations, to receive ordinary information and to prepare or inspect documents. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer terminals, calculator, copiers, and fax machines. Good reasoning ability is important.
