Organizational Development or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervising and leading teams.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in talent management or a
related HR field.
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience working in higher
education or matrix-organization environment.Preferred
Qualifications:
- Certification in Human Resources (e.g., SHRM -CP/ SCP , PHR /
SPHR).
- Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing
talent management strategies and initiatives.
- Previous experience working with senior leaders and executives
to drive talent management initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Proven ability to manage and lead workforce or talent-related

included.Class SummaryThis is an Administrator management role
which is responsible for providing strategic direction, integration
leadership and end-to-end operational support to the Talent
Lifecycle or Talent management processes for the College -
inclusive of Talent acquisition, Onboarding, Talent development,
Talent planning and other related work. In addition to providing
leadership to the team of managers or professionals that directly
manage these key functional areas - this role is responsible for
partnering with the Head of HR and other Directors on delivering
MCC HR strategies and enhancing overall employee experience within
the College.Typical Essential DutiesWe are seeking an experienced
and strategic-minded Director of Talent Management. As the Director
of Talent Management, the incumbent will play a critical role in
developing and implementing talent management strategies that align
with our organization's goals and objectives. You will be
responsible for attracting, developing, and retaining top talent,
as well as creating a positive and engaging work culture.Director,
Talent Management Responsibilities
- Develop and implement talent management strategies,
initiatives, and programs that support the recruitment,
development, performance and retention of our valued employees and
critical workforce teams.
- Provide organizational and T.M. practice leadership to key
Talent areas. Support and empower the Talent leaders and their
teams in streamlining, evolving and advocating for their enterprise
processes.
- Develop, garner input, and implement a comprehensive talent
management framework that can represent a roadmap for managing
talent across the employee life cycle.
- In partnership with HR leadership, team and potential
organizational peers, identify key goals and metrics to assess
progress in building talent management capabilities.
- Determine key Talent Management process pilots, target areas
and key timing for implementation.
- Collaborate with organizational leaders and HR team members to
identify and/or develop internal programs to help accelerate the
onboarding, professional growth and leadership readiness of key
talent.
- Partner with mid and senior leadership in developing talent
management strategies that enable organizational performance and
support organizational change.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in talent
management and make recommendations for continuous
improvement.KnowledgeKnowledge of management principles, advanced
principles and practices in assigned area of responsibility, public
relations principles, community agencies and resources, academic
development principles and practices, program development,
planning, and administration principles and practices, applicable
