Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Rehabilitation Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: 2 years nursing experience License: RN State License and/or Compact State Licensure (pending license acceptable, must be in-hand prior to start) Certifications: BCLS, ACLS Must-Have: COVID-19 Vaccine not required; Flu Vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only Job Description: - Provide nursing care to patients discharged from the hospital who require prolonged physical therapy, speech therapy, or occupational therapy. - Manage a patient load of 1:5-6 on night shifts. - Care for patients including post-surgical, post-stroke, and patients with CHF. - Collaborate with the physical therapy and care management teams to plan patient discharge. - Perform daily care activities and occasional lab draws. - Work within a team-based care environment, ensuring holistic patient recovery. - No telemonitoring on this unit. - Use EPIC for charting; EPIC experience preferred but not required. - Complete non-billable modules during orientation, recorded via MyPath. - Orientation consists of 16 non-billable hours. - Return staff must have a one-year gap before returning as a traveler. Note: Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are accepted at a reduced rate. Travel experience is preferred but not mandatory.
