  • Unit Name: ADOL, Serenity, ITU, SRAD, and VINE
  • Unit staffing description- ADOL unit takes patients from 12-18 yo, Serenity is a lower acuity adult unit. ITU is the higher acuity adult unit (patients with thought disorder diagnoses), SRAD has patients that live a senior lifestyle. VINE is lower acuity adult unit.

  • Patient Experience requirements: HCA follows ICARE values, I CARE values are integrity, compassion, always, and respect as well as AIDET to keep patients informed and make them feel heard.
    • Job Requirements
    • Ability to assess patients' mental health status, including recognizing signs of psychiatric disorders, substance use, and behavioral problems.
    • Developing individualized care plans based on the needs of patients with mental health and behavioral issues.
    • Administering psychiatric medications and monitoring for side effects or adverse reactions.
    • Crisis Intervention: Providing immediate, short-term support to patients in crisis (e.g., suicidal ideation, aggression).
    • Therapeutic Communication: Building trust and rapport with patients through effective communication skills, active listening, and empathy.

      • We require coverage for three 12-hour shifts each day, seven days a week, including weekends. Please note that days off are not guaranteed unless specified in the contract.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Procedures performed on unit: Monitoring patients for physical and psychological symptoms, including vital signs, mental status changes, and medication effects.
