Job Description:
A company is looking for a Referral Coordinator responsible for
managing administrative requirements for patient referrals and
health plans.
Key Responsibilities
Expedite administrative requirements and logistics for patient
referrals
Serve as a resource on referrals and insurance plan guidelines
Utilize independent decision-making and strong interpersonal skills
in daily tasks
Required Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent
Two years of experience in a medical setting or insurance
company
Experience in managed care is desired
Preferred experience with CPT and ICD coding
