this remarkable mix?***This role is a Relief/Floater position and
will be required to be available for all shifts, including
overnights, weekends, and holidays; as required for business
needs.***As a Production Supervisor, you are responsible for the
coordination of all first line management functions regarding
production planning, production output, equipment maintenance,
management of people, quality, safety, and sanitation of the
processing and departments. In this role you will be required to be
a problem solver that drives Continuous Improvement efforts across
the plant.Direct supervision of hourly production employeesBe a
catalyst for people development through mentoring, coaching, and
performance managementManage the processing or packaging schedule
to maximize output while minimizing costs including active
participation in problem solving to achieve these resultsEnsure
products are produced in compliance with quality key check points
and within "Good Manufacturing Practices"Achieve high levels of
asset intensity by reducing unplanned stops, speed loss, waste
generation, and optimizing planned downtown performanceIncrease
operating efficiencies and coordinate all activities within
maintenance, engineering, and QA to ensure goals are achievedLead
and coach integrated work groups to achieve results based on the
factory's continuous improvement planProvide safe working
environment for employeesRequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED2+
years' experience in a manufacturing, production, military, or
related environment1+ years' leadership experience in a
manufacturing, production, military, or related environment
preferredThe approximate pay range for this position is $63,000 -
$92,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith
estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final
compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to
knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
